Will a joie tilt car seat fit in the back ?
Don't want to buy and then be stuck with something unsuitable!
Thanks in advance

The joie website gives a list of each model of their car seats and you can check for your model of car.

Your car probably won't be on the fitting lists, but the main reason the Tilt wouldn't fit would be buckle crunch. This would happen if the seatbelt buckles in your car are on long 'stalks' or lengths of seatbelt webbing. If they are recessed into the seats, or hardly stick out at all then you should be ok.

This explains what buckle crunch is with photos. If the buckle stalk is too long you can't tighten the seatbelt enough and the buckle ends up trying to bend into the child seat where only the lap part of the seatbelt should be Buckle crunch

You should go into a store to look at car seats. The staff in mothercare were really helpful when we were looking at the joie 360. They will have a list, but they will also fit the seat before and after you buy it, because the lists are not 100% full proof.
