Currently have ds in a maxi cost opal, which leaves nowhere near enough leg room in the front. He's near to the upper weight for it to rear face so need to replace it. Also, pregnant and have bought a maxi cost pebble which only just fits behind drivers seat.
New baby will.use infant carrier for a long as possible. Ds needs a new erf seat which can go behind either seat but must give leg room.
Aby suggestion?

Axkid minikid is a slim seat but has high weight limit (up to 25kg). We have purchased this and are very happy.

Britax two way elite

Thanks both, in car safety centre have suggested the Britax, they seem to be the only place that sells then though and we're miles away.

I'd strongly suggest speaking to securatot (email or phone). In car safety centre were great on one issue I had but on a recent ERF issue they weren't as helpful as securatot who had lots of suggestions

Thanks note I'll try that too. I don't want to order a seat that I've nor tried in the car really.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I had exactly the same and it got to the stage where my baby was at the weight limit so I had to bite the bullet and just order. It worked out well and I'm pleased but boy did I experience cold sweats and grey hair
