Red Car Seats - Do they fade?

I'm thinking of buying a red car seat, but was wondering if they fade in the sun more than a black one.

Is buying a red car seat a bad idea?

We had a red Maxi Cosi Tobi for DD. It did have some signs of fading but I don't think it looked any different to a black one and after 3 years of use and constantly being in the car in sunlight it still looked very good.

We had a maxi cosi and it didn't fade. In use for years (DCs 2 and 3)

The black bits (shoulder area protection) on my red evolve have faded in the sun. So I don't think it makes any difference,

We've had red, black and blue car seats over the years and all of them faded to some extent, and all equally had their share of spillages. I don't think any particular colour fared better than another, so just buy the one you like!
