High back booster - - can I get the back off?

DD has a britax kidfix isofix.
I want to take the back off it. Cannot find anything online. Does anyone have any ideas on how to ?

DD is too broad for it now and I want to move her to a booster only.

Aren't backless booster seats going to be illegal soon? So even if you could get the back off somehow, there's no point.

How tall is DC? the law is changing in December..If not over 125cm make sure they have a HB so you don''t have to go backwards.

They're not going to be made illegal and you won't have to go backwards. You can continue to use a seat with the guidelines on that seat as they were when you purchased it. There are HBBs that go outwards as they go up that would be worth a look.
