Recommend me your car seat! ERF / FF

We need two new car seats:

DD1 - 2.8 and she's going ff now. I'd like a seat that reclines, but lasts longer than 4yo and DH prefers the impact shield. Not sure such a seat actually exists.

DD2 - 8m. We've got a Cybex Sirona, is there anything better or shall we just get another one?

Very excited to see the back of the Jané strata infant carrier, don't try and talk me into keeping it longer!

We have a Cybex Pallas 2 and would thoroughly recommend it. It's a stage 1-2-3, DS started using it aged about 12m and now he's 3.8 we've just converted it to stage 2 by removing the base and cushion thing (impact shield?)
We like it so much that we've just replaced our Britax stage 1 second seat with a Cybex Solution M-fix which is virtually the same seat. DS has always seemed comfortable in his Pallas and we wouldn't hesitate to buy another if we ever needed it.

I have a Kiddy Guardian Pro for my 5 year old. He just uses it with the seatbelt now but from 2.5 he used the impact shield. It reclines too. It will last as a HBB until they don't need a car seat anymore.

Thanks both. That sounds good about the Cybex, they both look comfy in the Sirona so maybe we stick with it. We've got a kiddy bit it doesn't recline, will have to have a look at the reclining one!
