Any feedback on either of these two chairs? I'm especially interested in the sirona safety cushion in forward facing mode as this isn't something I've seen with other seats.

Thanks!

My 3 year old is in the Sirona but we only use it rear facing. We don't want to forward face until she is 18kg at a minimum.

The maxi cosi axisfix will only rear face til 15 months, the Sirona will right up to 4 years. For that alone I went for the Sirona.
Have you watched a crash test video with the bumper? It might help you understand why they have gone for that over a harness.

I love our cybex- ds looks so comfy in it and like the fact that you can rear face until 4. All of the fixings feel very sturdy compared to out last car seat. Only had it a few months but no complaints so far.

Yep we have 2 sironas! We wanted a second seat for dh's car and we're going to go for something cheaper but in the end he decided he liked the sirona best so bought a second one.
Really love the quality and he seems super comfy. Like the thought that's gone into the design to make it easy to use, little things like the magnets to hold the straps out the way whilst you get them in and out.
We also don't intend using the cushion as will be using it rear facing until he outgrows it.

I have a Sirona for DS but he is still RF. The seat is great, very easy to install and change things like the height of the headrest (which automatically changes the harness, you don't have to faff about threading the harness through new holes), cleverly thought-out so you can move the seat and have more leg space as the child sits more up right and the swivel function alone is a delight!
