Britax first class plus adjustable foot

Just had this seat delivered and for the life of me I cannot see how I can pull out this adjustable foot, feels like it's a permanent piece on the seat and I am afraid to use too much force in case it breaks, You tube videos not much help, Has anyone got any ideas ?? Thanks in advance

You don't pull it out, it sort of swings back and forth.

When you swing it forward (to use the seat in the rear facing position) the side of the recline foot that is touching your vehicle's seat is the side that was hidden in against the bottom of the First Class when it was in the opposite position (the way you have to have it for forward facing).

It didn't swing but does now after I gave it a damn good pull. Thanks for the reply
