Car seat for 3yo

Dd1(3) is currently in a britax first class
Dd2(.8) in a carrier car seat

I'm trying to think about when dd2 outgrows her carrier seat. She is 23lb so not far off the weight limit and I know it might be a while but I wanted to start looking now for the best option

I'd thought about getting dd1 a new seat and passing the britax on to dd2? She's had it roughly 2 years now.

So what would I get dd1? A group 123? I don't think we'll get another year out of dd2 baby carrier to get dd1 into a 4-12yo seat.

Don't have a massive amount to spend but if it ticked all the boxes I could be flexible price wise.

Really wanted her in a full 5 point harness for as long as possible.

Any help? Tia Flowers

Hi there, I just thought I would report back that we are using the Britax Hi-Way now and it really is a great seat. I can see why it passed the Swedish Plus Test. I honestly think it is a better seat than the 2 Way Elite and it is way better than the Britax First Class Plus. It doesn't move once it is in and the protection is very good all the way around.
