Maxi-cosi easifix base - compatible with i size seat?

I'm almost certain the answer to this will be no, but can't find an answer for sure. We have a maxi-cosi infant seat being given to us (from family so know the history) and it has an easi-fix base. However, for complex reasons, we have 3 cars that we will need to put the baby in and out of. We initially thought we'd just get 2 more bases, but now think we'd rather get an i-size seat. Logistically it would be easier if we could get a maxi-cosi seat that would fit in the existing base, but have a feeling they won't be compatible.

Does anyone know?

No its compatible with cabrio fix only. I'd buy of of those on offer for £80/90 then save your money for a good rear facing stage 1/2 seat.

My DD fitted her cabrio fix til 22mths

Agree with sockmatcher my 75th centile DS was in his infant seat until 15 months anyway.

Infant seat then ERF seat.

Thanks both, it's a bit of a minefield.
