The cabrio is safer! It has 5 star safety rating whereas the pebble only has 4. I'm not too sure of the other features, I know the pebble has something clever with the straps? I stopped researching after the safety element!

I was having the exact same debate with myself yesterday! Decided on the cabriofix as while it's not as pretty, it's lighter (according to mothercare website) and cheaper.

And it's slimmer than the pebble so more room in car.

We went for cabriofix, can't remember why as was 3 years ago. Think it was something to do with more flexible options for fitting in bases/buggies...

I have the cabriofix, but have used the pebble many times.
Would have a slight preference for the cabriofix for day to day use (infant insert etc)
It is lighter (which is really important), actualy was the lightest we looked at and as the other reviewer said very safe.
Id say its a no brainer unless you are going for the pebble, pearl, 2 way base combo
