Hi, I already have a maxi-cosy pebble car seat which I had for my first child but no base. I am now expecting my second child and think a base would make life much easier. I have isofix points in my car but I also have underfloor storage compartments and have been told that it isn't safe to use a base with a support bar if you have these. Anyone know more about this? Thanks

Yes, you are correct. You shouldn't use an isofix base with support leg where it is over a storage compartment as it isn't strong enough to support the base. However, depending on what car you have, you may be able to get an insert to fill in the storage compartment. Some car manufacturers do make them others don't.
