Clueless on rear facing seats

Help! I'm in need of advice.

I need to get a car seat for my 16 month old and want to get a ERF seat.

Which ERF seats are best for small cars? That hopefully allow some room for the front seat passenger!

What seats do you have and in what car?

Thanks!

I have a klippan triofix recline in my polo. Its a compact seat but one that will last a long time.

I have a be safe izi I size in an Audi a3. Plenty of space for me in the front seat but I am 5ft3 and someone taller than me might find it rather snug on the legroom. I've just thought when it's tilted more upright it might give more room in the front. I'll have a look tomorrow.

Britax maxway, britax two way elite and Axkid minikid are all compact seats that are suitable until 25kg rear facing. They all have reputation for lasting until 5/6 years as spacious for child without taking up too much room in car
