Next stage car seat in a Mini - HELP!!

I'm hoping someone can offer some advice.

My baby is just about to outgrow his maxi cosi baby car seat and I need to get the next stage seat. I drive a 3 door mini and have just discovered I'm pregnant again. Money is really tight but obviously I'm not going to compromise on safety.

Can anyone recommend a good car seat that I could put in the back seat, probably will require front facing due to no back door in the car.
