Car seats

Do we go expensive or cheap?!

DH and I are in a bit of a situation.

Due to DH's work schedule we've agreed I will do drop off's and he will do pick up's.

All DC are in car seats but all the car seats are fitted in the my car which I use almost daily (and used as family car) so we have no car seats in DH's car...

We need car seats but do we spend another ungodly amount on them or somehow manage to good cheap ones and do we risk FF to cheaper?

I'm a big believer in ERF but they cost so much more ...

DC are 5.11yo, 3.4yo, and 23mo twins.

Opinions and advice please.

Could he drive to your workplace and swap cars?

I work from home but have two other babies at home so we would still be swapping car seats over just two instead of 4 but they're cybex so would become an annoyance constantly swapping car seats every day.

He starts work at 6am so would be unable to come and switch cars and visa versa as he parks in a sercure car park where his work ID is needed to enter and exit.

High back booster for 5 year old and then invest in a decent one for the 3 year old

We've just talked and decided that'll just do the runs to save on car seats and eventually, a new car or change in DH's company car - which he can't really do because he needs it to visit firms and he can't really go in a people carrier! And it'll save us on money x
