10week old slumped forward in car seat

When I went to take my 10 week old out of his car seat today, his head was slumped right forward. I'm not sure how it happened. I think I did a sharp break at one point. I feel awful as when I was stopped at lights, he was crying and I was shoogling his chair to try and comfort him. With his head slumped forward, this must have made things worse.

Once I got him out, he has seemed fine but could I have done damage to his neck/head/brain??? He has been playing and feeding fine since.

My car seat is a graco evo junior.

Any reassurances or experiences would be greatly received! I'm going to go out and buy a mirror so I can see him at all times.

I'm sure he'll be fine but do check you haven't got it too upright or straps too low/loose.

Have you still got the newborn wedge in? Or if it is on a base does the position of the base need adjusting so that the seat sits better on it.
