footmuff for car seat

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone knew if all car seat footmuffs fitted with the head insert (for newborns) still in place?

There are some lovely footmuffs for sale but would need the insert in place for a newborn.

I would look at Morrck wraps. They would fit with the headrest in place plus the are so cute and super cosy. My dc5 didnt wear a coat in his carseat for the first year.

I'd second the Morrck blankets, they really are fab. You'll also able to use them in your pushchair too.

For what it's worth kids shouldn't wear coats in car seats, as in an accident the air will get pressed out of the coat and there will be a much bigger gap between the straps and the child and they could slip out of the seat. I've probably not explained that very well but you'll see what I mean if you Google.
