Maxi Cosi Cabriofix - How to remove straps/Harness?

I've managed to get the cover off my Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix but can't seem to get the straps off to wash. Is it possible? If not, how do I clean them? Have spent two days turning it over and staring at it so any help much appreciated...

You cant im afraid...carefully remove polystyrene insert and put it somewhere safe where it wont get crushed. I tipped seat upside down and scrubbed straps with washing powder and then rinse. If mouldy a bit of Dettol mould and mildew in a small bowl (ie cereal) and water and submerging the straps in it helped. Bit of a mission though!
