Anyone got an Isofix ERF in Zafira?

And if so, which one, and do you like it?

Looked at some in John Lewis yesterday and the woman said that the BeSafe is large and we'd have to have the front seat quite a long way forward to fit it in, which doesn't sound too great tbh.

Anyone got a Cybex Sirona?

Reviews seem good apart from that it's possibly a bit smaller than others in that group...

Have seen a cybex sirona and it is a small shell compared to the others.

Dont discount the besafe until you have tried it. Fits well in both our cars. I also have an axkid kidofix. Maybe try the mini version? Think its belted but to be honest I dont use the isofix on my axkid as i get more room belting it and its rock solid

I have now read that there is a new version of the Cybex Sirona coming out which will be 5cm taller shell, sort of Sirona mark II. I cannot work out of the swivel feature is going to be any use in a rear-facing seat anyway.

The other seats I want to try are the Britax Max Fix and the Klippan Triofix (which sounds nice and small although worried it will not recline enough for DD to nap) and I will also try the Besafe, thanks for the tip. Plus will look into the Axkid one too, not heard of that.

not isofix, but had my two way elite in my friends zafira behind the passenger seat and it fitted fine, and there was still room in the front passenger seat. the seat belt stalks were long and it missed the seat so no buckle crunch either.

:)

Thanks for your reply nicm! I will try out the Two-way Elite as well, it looks good and not quite as expensive as some of the others which is an added bonus, cheers.

We've got a Zafira and a cybex sirona for DD, who is 2. I love it, DH loves it and the swivel function is useful for putting her in and tightening the straps too.

It is quite small, but DD seems to have a bit of growing room left. Sounds good that they are meant to be bringing out a slightly bigger version though.

AliBingo · 02/07/2013 12:35

Thanks midori! Will def try the Sirona.

Well, my folks have got a meriva and I bought a Polaric and gave it to them as I don't have isofix - I think it fits, not tried it yet! But it is truly massive.

Another vote for a 2 way elite, no it's not isofix but it's a doddle to put in once you've watched the videos. I've had it in a Picasso, a focus, in a couple of taxis and a coach for 7 hours (never again!)

My friend has 2 besafes in her safira with plenty of room to spare! Look at the new besafe coming out in august, it goes from 0-5 years (25 kg) and looks super comfy!:)

AliBingo · 10/07/2013 21:52

Ooh thanks for the update, I may hang on for the new Besafe next month, any idea what it's called or who will have it?

I've got the besafe in a Meriva and space up front is fine.

AliBingo · 23/07/2013 18:25

Thanks Tigermummy. I am working up to travelling over to one of the ERF specialists and trying out a load. Don't fancy the journey in this heat though!
