Car seat for a five year old

Hello

We have some friends from New Zealand coming to stay for a month. They are borrowing my car and I'm wondering what to do about car seats.

They have a five year old and a three year old. We can borrow a seat for the three year old but thought we'd buy one for the five year old as we have a DS (20 months, 13.5 kilos) who could use it in a couple of years time. What should we get?

Thanks!

Ours is without as pur car doesn't have isofix but of younger one with isofix you can still use the seat without using the isofix is just with the adult seatbelt if a car doesn't have isofix but then you have the option of using with isofix in a car that has it.

At least I think that is the case. Depends on your cars o guess do they have isofix?

Our car doesn't have isofix

And 'but if you have one with isofix'. Not of a younger one... Not sure what happened up there with my typing/autocorrect

Get the one with isofix. You can retract the isofix rods (you can on the ferofix anyway). You don't have to belt it in when the child isn't in it either

Spotted this Graco Logico car seat reduced from 90 to 40. might be worth considering if you're looking for something on a budget
