Britax 2 way elite on long journey

Hi

We're off on holiday next week and will be travelling with our 2y 8m old in his Britax 2 way elite. We have always used it in the upright position as we never travel far but wondered if the recline position would be more comfy for him. He fell asleep in car a few weeks back (it was 1am after he'd been rushed to a&e) & looked very uncomfy but he normal stays awake during journeys.

Has anyone used this seat on a long car journey? Do u have it upright or reclined?

We drove from Stoke to Sweden with our then almost 2yo (she turned 2 the day after we finished the trip) in her TWE. She was in the reclined position and was very happy and comfortable the whole trip.

Thanks, I changed the position fine & my son seemed comfy enough in reclined position. He was abit wriggly on way home but just pulled in services for him to stretch his legs.

The instructions say reclined position only up to 14 kg

For an 8 month old, reclined position would be a good idea.

It reclines up to 40 degrees independantly on the slope in th back seats. It really depends on the position of the front seat and nothing else.
