Can anyone recommend a good valet company to clean a Maxi Cosi Pebble car seat, near Radlett Herts?
Buggy Pit Stop want £51, which seems a bit expensive?...

Can't you bung the cover in the washing machine?

pompompom · 02/04/2013 12:56

Sorry, that sounded rude, whoops. Have never heard of car seat valet

I have the Cabriofix and I took the cover off and washed it, looks as good as new. Does the pebble cover not come off?

LemonBreeland · 02/04/2013 13:00

I thought most car seat covers came off and went in the washing machine. Never heard of car seat/pushchair valeting.

Just checked and on Mothercare website it says hand wash the cover, so it must be removeable.

I e got the pebble and I never thought to get it cleaned.

The cover does come off supposedly but I unhooked one side and it nearly took my fingers off!

I didn't bother in the end as I thought once its been washed and shrunk a bit I'll never get it back on.

There is a company in Gloucestershire called grubby buggy. Offers good service but don't know what they charge. They are on Facebook and offer national service.

That car spray upholstry cleaner will do the job.
