Does anyone have opinions on these? Which is better? Are they both useable with seatbelt?

Interesting question ! both suitable with seat belt.
I heard that Britax UK do not make the TWE available in the UK saying it is an old seat and has since been replaced by newer and more advanced seats in their range, i.e. Multi-Tech II and Max-Way. They also say this seat does not have a support leg, which is designed to prevent rotation, and this is something that has been rectified with the newer models.

We recently got the two elite and love it.

The car safety centre in Milton Keynes assured me althats it's as safe as the other seats.

Both can be use with a seatbelt, I am in the same position choosing between these 2! The maxway has the foot prop and different adjustable recline bar/ wedge which the twe does have but in a slightly different way! So confusin x

I spoke to britax Sweden about the twe before I bought mine. It is the main seat they supply in Sweden far more than the max way and it makes no difference with the support leg as it leans on the seat in front which is far more supportive than a foot prop!

The TWE having no support leg is an advantage as you can't have a support leg on underfloor storage.

After lots if research I bought TWE from incar safety centre Milton Keynes. Their service is so quick it arrived within 48 hrs of ordering. We've used it for a 6 hrs journey (both ways) and it looks very comfy for my 11 month old DS. It fits very well in Renault Scenic, reclines nicely @ 45° angle as it rests on the front seat. I'm very happy with it Smile
Would definitely recommend TWE.
