Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could tell me at what age/ size of baby they took the foam insert out of the head higher bit on the maxi cosi cabriofix?

Thanks

We took the foam insert out at around 14-15 weeks (15lb) and the head hugger part at 20weeks (18lb).

Hope this helps

That's great thanks Smile

Ds2 is 21 weeks and about 17.5lbs I think and I took the foam out last night - seems to have been comfy enough this morning (although I completely forgot to check but previously he'd looked uncomfortable so must have been fine by the fact it didn't attract my attention?)

I'm thinking with the head hugger maybe until it gets to the top of the seat or he can sit up and have better head control? He does have head control but it's not as good as some others of his age iyswim?

My DS is also 21 weeks and size wise the head hugger bit was still ok but he was getting very warm inside it. I would leave it in for as long as you can as he doesn't have the same support that he used to. He is now 19lb though so a bit bigger and he also has a big head!
