9mo+ car seat for 1990s Land Rover Disco

Can anybody recommend a car seat for the disco that fits properly? Whilst ours is supposed to fit I'm not 100% happy with it. When it's in my car (ford fiesta) it doesn't budge at all. In Dh's disco, it has a bit of movement.

Also on the britax website some of the seating positions for the LR disco say should be in the front seat. Not sure I've ever seen babies in the front seat? Is this ok?

Assuming the model is post 2001 then the IzIx3 seat linked here should.
Checking the car spec for the BeSafe, they recommend fitting to the rear passenger, not front passenger, seating.

It is possible to have baby seats in the front for some car models, but you need to have the airbags turned off to do so and it's not ideal.

Two way elite fits in my friends 05 defender, it has the longest buckles Imaginable and fits beautifully. I would recommend this seat hands down. I remember from when I bought mind at in car safety that the only criteria it needs to fit is an adjustable headrest on the seat it leans on!

Got it sorted at halfords. Britax 1st class plus. They were v helpful. Not ideal seat as bit smaller than others as it's from newborn to 4 but it's safe now, and I now realise just how badly fitting the other one was which scared me. I would highly recommend getting it fitted by someone.

On the downside, I did have to return it yesterday and get another one as the assistant had obviously sold me an ex-display seat. It was missing the shoulder straps and the one he replaced it with is obviously a more recent model.

Anyway, happy it's all sorted now! :)
