I need to buy a new infant carrier fir new baby, as the old one broke, sigh. The range seems absolutely massive now 
. I'd like an isofix one with a base you leave in the car, which has never been an option before because of previous cars. Even so, that doesn't seem to narrow it down much! I have no need of a travel system and we have individual full sized seats in the car and no under floor storage boxes, so I'm guessing most isofix seats are likely to fit. We have group 1 rear facing seats already, so I only need an infant carrier.
My sole criterion really is that I want the safest seat. Any ideas? Anyone seen recent which reports?
