Is there an alternative to the Ferofix?
We really need the recline, but would like to be able to do it when child is in the car
Any ideas?

I think this one does but with both of the seats I would worry about about where the lab belt sits on the child it should sit across the lop of their thighs to be safe. I would also suspect that you wont be able to recline it as the child gets heavier while they are in it.
This group of seat don't recline very much even on issofix. Other seats that recline are britax Kidfix, jane, kiddy cruiserfix. We mostly know when they might of you would like your child to fall asleep so we just recline it before they get in.
