DD is almost 4 and we are looking for a next stage seat - she has been in high backed boosters (just standard graco ones) for short trips with my sil etc but if she falls asleep she slumps right forward - i was wondering about reclining seats? i ahve just come across Maxi Cosi FeroFix which says it reclines - are there any others? any experience? does it actually work etc?
thanks so much :)

My Maxicosi Rodi has a small recline on it, just enough that if they sleep they remain upright/slightly reclined rather than slumping forwards (mostly!). But it is not a big recline, I don't think any of the full sized seats are.

It's awkward to do though, eg. you can't recline them once they are in the seat, well, not without a complete perlaver (regardless of what we were told when we bought them!)

We have a Britax Kidfix and a Recaro Monza Seatfix (both Isofix). Both recline, but in practice DD still slumps right forward when she falls asleep in either of them. We've tried everything to keep her upright but nothing works.

The angle of your car's rear seats makes a difference I believe.
