Anyone got a Cabriofix and a Vectra?

Just sorting out a car seat for dc2 and was intending to get a new Cabriofix which fits on the frame of my iCandy Apple. But Maxi Cosi's website says neither the Pebble or the Cabriofix fit in the Vectra. When I tried to put DD's old one in it didn't look right, but then that could just be me out of practise.

Does anyone have this combination? I'm not sure I really trust Mothercare or Halfords.

I had a cabriofix in my vectra a few years ago, in fact, used it for dd's 1 &2. I had to get the isofix base for it though, and adjust the leg support so the base was lying flat against the seat. Was a man in Halfords that fitted it for me actually. I didn't like it at all without the base. Fwiw, I found it a nightmare getting any seats to fit the vectra at all, due to the bucket shape of the seats in the back, great for adults who need loads of legroom, a nightmare for child seats.

It really depends what store you go to :-s weve got some great fitters at my store but some don't care and have minimal knowledge! Give Halfords a go then maybe go to mothercare/john lewis afterwards to see if the advice tally's up?
