MaxiCosi FeroFix - vanished from all retailers!

Hi - a couple of weeks ago we were planning on buying one of these for DD (3.11) but held off for a week or two as temporarily had nowhere to store the old seat. Now we're ready to buy and I can't find anywhere that has them in stock. Have they been discontinued or is there some kind of safety scare, or are they just plain out of stock - anyone know please?

I have noticed the same thing as we were going to buy one for DD too! Maybe they haven't made enough!

I've just done a Google shopping search and there are loads available. Here, here, here and here for example. Others say preorder for November delivery, so maybe there's a new batch being shipped at the moment.
