Tried it last week in a friend's car. It was OK in teh upright position, I'm 5ft3 and had enough leg room in the front. When we tried it in the more reclined position though I didn't have much room left. I think it would be OK for anyone up to about 5ft6-ish and taller than that it might be a bit cramped.

ok thank you for that. I would be installing it in the reclined position. If the leg room is poor i might have to consider the front passenger seat or back middle seat but id much rather he was behind the passenger seat.

The TWE is quite wide and I think if you fit it in the middle back seat you will end up with both of the front seats having to be far forward for the back of the TWE to lean on them. Whereas if you put it behind passenger/driver at least only one seat has to be forward. Otherwise, yes, your. best bet is the front passenger seat.

Hi im collecting my focus in a couple of days. Can i just ask if anyone knows how the tethers straps are routed in the focus. In my current car they go under the front passenger seat but i know you can also route it through the back of the seat on some cars.

Its ok, no need for anyone to reply. Ive done it. Its routed differently to my other car but was very easy to do :-)
