Britax Kidfix SICT

Does anyone know if this HBB will fit a Renault Laguna II? Mothercare and Halfords dont carry stock of any Britax SICT product, Mothercare staff say I can buy it online and get a refund if it doesnt fit but they are £50 more expensive than the online options! Have contacted Britax directly but Renault havent given official approval for our make/model so their advice is that I really need to test the physical product in our vehicle, dimensions dont take into account contour of the seat etc.

Maybe someone out in Mumsnet-land has been able to test this vehicle / car seat combo in real life??????????

Have you looked on the britax web site at fit finder? We have kidfix in both our cars and been very happy with them. We have found in both our renult cars you have to lift them up a bit to clip it in as renault issofix points seam to be a bit higher than in some other cars.

I think the kidfix is the seat you can buy from renault to fit their cars, and the sict is a newer version. I would want to see it to see how much wider it is and what the air bags are like
