Maxi cosi in a Polo?!

We've just bought a new Polo and the maxi-cosi (Cabrio fix with easy fix base) doesn't seem to fit right. It should do according to website but the back seats are at such an angle that poor DS looks like he's leaning forward supported by the straps. Bit of a long shot, but anyone had the same problem?

you could go to halfords/mothercare and ask them to try one in to see it it does fit or not?
the seat angles can vary between specifications of car models so it may be that the polo they tested it in was ok,but your spec is not :(
