I have just bought a Peugeot 307 SW (53 plate) which has side and curtain air bags. I have two children both in the back of the car. 4 year old DS in a Britax Evolva (forward facing still using the 5 point harness as he's skinny) and 4 month old DD in a Maxi Cosi Cabrio (rear facing).
My question is - do I turn my side airbags off with them in the back of the car? I am worried especially with DD rear facing that if the air bag goes off it could force the seat sideways?
Does anyone know if there is any research/tests on this issue?
