Isofix seat suitable for a Citroen Xsara Picasso?

Hi Mums,
I'm new to Mumsnet and hope someone is willing to help me. Grin
I am getting a Citroen Xsara Picasso (54 plate) on Tuesday, but have heard that most Isofix car seats are unsuitable in this make of car due to the under floor storage compartments in the foot well. Confused
I have tried the maxi-cosi website but they haven't tested any seats in this type of car. The Britax fit finder isn't working either.
Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a suitable Isofix car seat for this type of car?
Appreciate your help.

Britax say their baby base is ok (when I checked) britax duo or any of the others with a tether strap. The britax one with the leg can only go in the middle.

I had one on motability so checked all my friends seat.

When we tried the baby seat on issofix we didn't like the way it moved but may of had it in wrong as the mum had never put the base in and I was remembering from the video but it went in really well with the belt.

The two seat I have mentioned are the ones the y use in the ncap tests

I would also go and try it so you know how it all works

Enjoy your new car

Thank you, that was very helpful. Looks like it has to be the Duo Plus then as my son is 1 year old. You would think there would be more choice wouldn't you, especially as isofix was a main reason for us buying the car in the first place!
