Hi all im new to mumsnet,

we are expecting our baby in june even though its not our 1st it will be our 1st baby to come home we lost our daughter in icu at 2 days old in feb this year .....

more to the question so we have started to look at things we need to buy again( gave everthing away in april!)and we are going for a bugaboo travel system now we will buy the car seat but the foot muff things that go with seam to be small on the leg room could i just not use a normal footmuff for winter ??? also is it ok to use a sheepskin liner in the summer in the seat ????

also not related but sleepbags now the 2.5 tog when its very cold do you puta blanket over or extra clothes on ???

First off, am very sorry to read about your loss. :( I can perfectly understand why you threw out the lot (a friend did exactly the same).

Sorry I'm pants at answering your questions, especially re footmuff; you might be better off asking in the Pushchairs topic. I had babies under the duvet with me (I'm sure that's against some official advice, but no apparent harm done). I would plan on putting blankets or similar over a sleepsac if very cold. Some people just keep the baby's bedroom heated all night.

The general rule is that baby usually needs one more thin layer than you do, to sleep comfortably at whatever temp the room is.
