Car seat squashing vital area

Over the last 2 weeks DS (15 weeks) has been very uncomfortable in his car seat, and we've noticed his bits have been stuck to his nappy afterwards. Yesterday he was in there and he went beserk, o had to pull off the motorway, take his nappy off and couldnt put him back in a nappy without him crying.

It looks like the buckle is just in the most uncomfortable place for him. Anyone got any suggestions how we can fix this !

Thank you.

some carseat you can adjust the strap to the buckle as the child gets bigger. Do his shoulder straps need moving up. Never herd of bits sticky to nappy. or is the seat two up right or nappy two small

Is the seat perhaps a bit too upright, perhaps scrunching him up. Try putting it in a bit flatter. Usually the nappy provides mroe than enough padding.

Can't move the straps and leveller on the seat says it's just right. It could possibly be the nappy but he's less than 7 kg and the nappies are meant to go up to 9 kg. Will try a bigger size though. I wince for him when I have to peel the nappy off!

Thanks for the replies.
