Just posting this 2009 article here - apologies if it's been posted before - because I often mention this to other people then completely fail to find the link (ludite that I am). And because someone else on here might find it interesting if they haven't already seen it, I guess.

(how come I can read that for free, the BMJ usually wants paid?!)

THOS, I'm not entirely sure why it appears free other than that it is a recommendation for doctors to chance their practice rather than just a systematic review with no recommendations per se. But that's a big guess!

I actually ended up printing it out and taking it to my local health visitors and midwives to see if they would share with new mums!! They all looked at me like I was slightly crazy, but I don't care :) If it helps save the life of a LO then I don't mind being seen as mad!!!! :) :)
