Does anyone have the Cybex Solution X-Fix car seat?

I want to order one for DS1 and I just want to know what it's like and how long it took you to get it because there seems to be quite a waiting list!

I've got the Pallas which becomes the x fix it is fantastic and easily adapts to different heights which has been invaluable on the school runs.
the boys say its very comfortable too!

Someone posted about it the other day saying it was wobbly. It was never established whether it was that particular seat which was wobbly or just that all booster seats are in general more wobbly than Group 1 seats.

I bought one of these recently. It has won lots of safety awards in Germany (where they take things like car safety seriously I expect) and it seems well made. We were thinking about the Britax Kidfix but the Cybex one has a better range of recline. It is much easier to recline too, you just release a handle under the front of the seat and slide it forwards (just like the maxi cosi recline mechanism). The sort of thing we could easily do at the side of the road if our son nods off. The Britax only has two recline settings and you have to take the car seat out of the car to change between them, not very practical if there is a sleeping occupant!

My son thinks the new Cybex seat is very nice (his big boy seat!) and it's much easier to get him in and out compared to the old maxi cosi priori seat.

It was £135 from Halfords (manager gave us a 10% discount). I know this is quite expensive compared to some seats but I was impressed with the quality and Isofix makes it very stable. I see that another post said that it wobbles but can't say that we've notice that at all.

All in all very pleased with it despite the high price.

we have 2 of these - one for each car.

We bought it because of the safety awards in Germany as well.

Although I do think it is wobbly but i think that is to do with the fact it is a big boy seat as my DS calls it.

I am very happy with ours - we like the fact that it is isofix and is not simply one that the child sits on and is not tethered in any way.

We got one for £90 in Mamas & Papas sale and the other was a gift from my parents. So it is expensive but from the isofix POV is v v good.
