hi i have a daihatsu sirion 2001- already have a 4 year old in a maxi cosi booster high back seat and currently 10.5month old is in a maxi cosi with easy base.he is big 91st centile height and weight but i am trying to keep him rear facing as long as safe. ideally id like another rear facer but our car is small-ive tried to look online but get nowhere-i live in whitby and there are no stores near me--i do have my older sons maxi cosi ? stage 1 seat which i could use? what would be safest? i really dont think a rear faer would fit expecially as my partner is 6ft4 and sits in passenger seat etc. so which forward facer is safest available? and which rear facer might fit a small car?

mmm, i've had my two way elite and kiss in a polo, a seat ibiza, clio and a fiesta. not sure what size your car is compared to them. could you switch the airbag off and put it in the front? could you call the essex car safety team and ask their advice or the in car safety centre in belfast or milton keynes? they would maybe be able to help you more. or email hakan who has the rear facing shop.

:)

we have the two way elite and it fitted in our yaris. we now have it in a citroen c4.

We went to the in car safety centre in MK to get ours, a very helpful lady (I think her name was Helen) tried every RF car seat they had and the two way elite was the only one that fitted (in the yaris).

Also- can you put the RF seat behind your seat- the drivers seat, so that your husband has full leg room on the other side? Just a thought if it helps :)

You can order from Milton Keynes and send it back if you're not happy. Also, if you call them they'll tell you which seats fit your car. We just orderd a TWE from them for our Punto and it's fine.
