Travel Car seats

Hello
As I travel a lot I am looking for a lightweight but extremely safe car seat for my toddler (2yrs 9 months). One that is small and light enough to pack in a bag and take either on the plane or put in the hold. I currently have a maxi tobi as my daughters main car seat but it is too heavy to take on planes. Does anyone have any reccomendations? Many thanks

My friends bought a kiddy carseat and took it on the plane with them it is also really light and does really well on safety

Many thanks. Is Kiddy the make of the car seat? I haven't heard of this before.

I would recommend Britax Eclipse, it is lightweight and very good quality.

I've got a Kiddy Infinity Pro car seat as well and yes it is very light and you could probably use it easily on a plane. It has a completely different system to the 5-point harness, but it's great.

There is also the Kiddy Comfort Pro or the Mamas & Papas Cybex Pallas if you want one similar which converts to a booster seat for later.
