Do you appointments etc at breast clinic show in nhs app?

Just wondering as when I’ve had hospital appointments for other stuff the appointments showed in the nhs app and also correspondence sent to the gp was there. I got recalled after a routine mammogram, had screening tests then had to go back for biopsy and go back for results tomorrow. There is not a mention of anything in my nhs app even the initial call back. Will the gp not have been informed at all yet or is this sort of thing kept off the app?

My referall showed but not of my slots did. About 30% of them showed in a different app.

Was your referal from the gp though? I didn’t have a referal as such as I just got a call back after the routine mammogram you get after age 50

It depends on whether the hospital you have been referred to has a patient portal app that shares appts with the NHs app. Some do, some don’t yet and those that do don’t always display all appts (like potential cancer appts)

I keep getting recalls for 3 yearly mammograms even though I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy 2 years ago and am on yearly recall for 5 years for mammograms. Different bits of the nhs don’t seem to talk to each other!

I don’t have breast cancer, but no, none of my hospital related appointments or test results appear on the NHS app.

The only things that come up are when my hospital consultants write letters to my GP. The GP loads those into the app.

I've had 2 letters appear on my NHS app today for future hospital appointment, having been at an appointment this afternoon.

the Gp won’t get a letter until after your results appointment so won’t appear on the NHS App until then.
