Hard Lymph Node Armpit

I notice a hard movable oval shaped lymph node in my armpit just under 2 weeks ago, I have an appointment at the breast clinic on Thursday and feel so scared it is something sinister. Looking for some positive stories, I suffer from really bad health anxiety and this is pushing me over the edge

Lymph nodes can become 'cystic'. I'll admit I don't know quite what that means but when I had a lymph node in my neck that behaved just like yours that what it was and it was benign. It was a terrifying few weeks and I had to have it completely removed and biopsied to find out.

There's no point saying try not to worry because you will. But take care.
