Recently lost a parent to cancer - one thing I’m struggling with is how they must have felt. They weren’t open with feelings or emotions and didn’t discuss their illness at all. I feel it'll help me to process it. Maybe it’s a bad idea - hard to know. I’m going to have some bereavement counselling but I wondered if there are any books or podcasts or similar from the perspectives of those with cancer and is incurable. I guess I’m specifically terminal/incurable as the bit I’m struggling with is how they felt about dying and coming to an end.
Any other recommendations or perspectives welcome xx
