Camping in SE- Monday? Anyone else preparing to swelter?

We are off to Selsey Bill on Monday for a week. Weather set to stay HOT.

Anyone else thinking of that horribly hot morning moment where you RIP the doors open?

That's why we bought a polycotton tent . Bit flash I admit but we were almost converted into ex-campers and we're in love with it again now .

Hate that boil-in-the bag feeling! The worst is when you just HAVE to get out of the tent, then realise that it's actually 5 am ...

We were on the Sussex coast last weekend, thankfully it was quite a bit cooler there, lovely sea breeze and a little sea fog stopped us from sweltering too much

I'll be in Snowdonia at the weekend... the forecast is for rain. I'll happily swap you for that boil in the bag feeling!

We had rain, sun, but worst of all BLOODY WIND!

One of our tent pegs snapped -and I spent 2 nights staring at billowing tent walls and tapp0ing in pegs. Came home early on Friday - first aborted campoing trip ever for us!
