Campsite Petersfield / Midhurst, Hants / W. Sussex border

Can anyone recommend a campsite in this overall area?

We want to visit Cowdray when we're in the area but we're coming from Wiltshire so I don't want anywhere too far South / East.

i am from that area and i dont know of many campsites round there.

the sustainability centre near petersfield might be ok.... or maybe the campsite on southbourne / nutbourne (forget what its called)

due to living so close have never camped at either but think of any off the top of my head... you could look around the petworth area which isnt too far from cowdray...

or chichester and down towards witterings beach where there are a fair few too...

There is one at Graffham, fairly basic but we like it.

I like this site: Graffham. The pictures don't do it justice. Pitches are set in clearings in the trees. In some of them you are unable to see any other tents/caravans. It is very peaceful, well run and the toilet facilities etc are good. The negatives: No fires of any kind, including charcoal bbqs. No specific play area for children - not even a field. Great for kids like mine who are happy just poking around in the mud or making their own entertainment in the woods.
