hiya

Plenty up your end- we used to live there too LOL

First night out i'd suggest broadway house in cheddar as it has amenitoes so is excellent if things do go a little awry. Also forest holidays Christchurch is ptrett accessible depending on where is the OCunty you are.

Food wise is easy, pasta, sausage casserole, we just buy whatever looks good that day and grill, eat with salad and bread- sorted.

For camping food we've always done a batch of something like chilli/sausage casserole/anything in a pot that can be frozen and then take it with us in the cool box. Acts as an excellent cool-pack and is usually defrosted for warming up on the evening you get there.

If you put lots of frozen stuff in the bottom of the cool box (milk is fine to freeze) then it's also good to keep your beer/wine cool

Yep we do that too JAred; on day one we tend to do something simple such as maybe salmon in a basic marinade of cocounit and lime; the extra liquid when frozen makes it into a great ice block LOL

We also soemtimes do very simple home made burgers in different flavours.
