Just thought would share! We went over the weekend (was sooo hot), with two other families. Site is lovely, the kids loved it. Was quite busy at the weekend but we stayed for 4 nights and had one whole field to ourselves. The river/forest activities are great, we didn't use the tree top trials which you had to pay for, but lots to do and use of two heated pools, plus river/lake beach etc. The town nearby was great, nice deli's, bakery and little shops. Def recommend this site (our kids 16 months and 3 years) as even though £20 a night there is so much to do on site it is worth it. Don't normally like big active sites but as this one is set in massive country parkland things water down. will def go again

Can't wait, we are going on monday for 8 days, with Dd's 2 and 3, 14 and 7, hoping for a bit of time out. While they play. LOL

Good to hear your review. We are off there for 7 nights in August - pitch no 16 in the Picnic Meadow which we were told would be a quietish area.

Ah, memories! Went there as a teenager with another family of teenage girls. It was my first ride on a zip wire - very exotic in those days. I remember it with massive affection and hadn't thought to look and see if it was still in operation.
