After seriously considering several tents (Bear Lake 6, Decathlon Quechua) we finally fell in love with this canvas tent. And it only takes 15 minutes to pitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's huge!
Here is what we have just bought: soulpad.co.uk/sanctuary/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,195/cate goryid,40/manufacturerid,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,43/

We know some campsite don't like bell/tipi style tents but we prefer to go to quiet basic sites so hoping this shouldn't be too much of a problem.

When the kids get older we can even have a stove inside with a chimney flue coming out the top. I can't wait to go camping now

I only bought it today so haven't slept in it. I have vaguely heard of the pods...which one do you have? Maybe I should have looked at them as I am a side sleeper so maybe it would be more comfy for me. Do you know of a 3 season pod bag? If i changed my mind i could always return the ones I got today.

Thanks TheButterflyEffect I have just been onto Amazon and bought the kids two junior Gelert pods. I thought they might feel a bit restricted in a mummy shape bag because they are only 2 and 4...I might tie the end up for my 2 year old so she doesn't slip down! If they get too hot in a 3 season they can sleep in a vest i think.

Now i just need to decide if i should look into getting a pod sleeping bag for me and DH. I didn't know they were as warm as mummy shaped sleeping bags!

The tent looks fab - how big is it when folded down and in the bag? This is always key for us as we only have a smallish car.
