Inexpensive but clean campsite in Hampshire?

We are going to give camping a try and will be borrowing tent and equipment from DSIL. We live in Chandlers Ford and just need somewhere that's nice and fairly local (up to 2 hrs away) but the sites in the New Forest seem quite expensive. Any recommendations? It would be for Fri/Sat night during the summer. Thanks.

Maybe it would be useful to add that 'we' is me, DH, DD(8) and DS(5). Somewhere they can run around freely would be nice but we don't need lots of places to go in the area as we hope to be able to just relax by the tent with a book and some games. Thanks.

The Inside Park near Blanford Forum is great, we went there after someone on here recommended it, and it was brilliant. In fact we are going again soon

check out campsites on Purbeck, Corfe Castle area - lots of farmers open their fields for the summer, very cheap and basic. Beautiful coast and scenery, fun to get to on Sandbanks ferry

Thanks. The Inside Park looks good, nice play park for DC. I'll have a look at Corfe Castle too.
