We're planning our first camping trip as a family, with DS1 (5) and DS2 (2). This site in Norfolk looks pretty good, but I'd feel a bit more reassured if I could hear from someone who'd been. Anyone???

I was looking at this place for the last bank holiday. Looks fantastic - and being able to get off the steam train there would be loads of fun.
If you go, make sure you let us know what it was like!!
When are you thinking of going? If I get there first I'll let you know too!

We used to visit it a lot as it is fairly local and used to be very cheap.

It's a lovely site, pitches are nice and the toilet and washing facilities are always clean, swimming pool costs extra I think but is lovely, resturant is good.

The area is fantastic too.

This brings back memories, I used to take the DC years ago, and went a few times. It is or was, very well run, very clean, safe and good fun!

I'd love to go back, so would the DC, but they are 23 and 24 now!

Crabbing at Blakeney, go and sea the seals, the tank museum, a pottery somewhere - Holkham Hall? Cley next the sea Windmill, lots to do!

Oh fantastic! Thanks all . We're going to try and book tonight for the 10th - 17th July. Fingers crossed there's space for us.

I'll be sure and post after we get back.
